Stand Up

Tim Langford approached Worldwide Pictures with an idea for their, monthly, corporate magazine programme UK Today (commissioned by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, to present contemporary stories about Britain to an international broadcast audience) The outcome was a 6 minute documentary about comics on the circuit. The director wondered around backstage and shot with the famous and the unknown...and spent time with a crew at the bear pit that is Jongluers. The highlight was observing a man transform himself into a drag queen.
